Playing Descent through the Chocolate source port made by SaladBadger / InsanityBringer. Much like with Chocolate Doom, this is a software-rendered port that allows us to play Descent on modern hardware with a few fixes while being mostly faithful to the original. Yeap, that includes the blocky pixelated look. In this case the MIDI music is being played through an FM VSTi emulator, it’s not integrated within Chocolate Descent and music will sound different depending on the device.
